Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as to some Malayalam films. The actress was honoured with an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 for her portrayal of actress Savitri which was in the Telugu film Mahanati. In addition, she received a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She started her acting career at the beginning of 2000. She played her debut main role as a lead in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. The movie didn't do well in the theater. In the year 2015, she debuted A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against each other. The films did not do well at the theaters. In order to fit in larger projects, she was forced to pull out of films she had been working on for a while. These included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She worked in two films that came out in quick succession, together with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note on Prabhu's Thodari. Though the release date for Janakitho Nenu has not been announced, it is reported that the film could be released in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and was starring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa opposite Vijay, directed by Bharathan. In 2017, she also appeared in Tamil films, including Paambhu sattai. She also appeared in Telugu movies Nenu Local.
